Sunset, quarter moon paddle late into the night. Loon's calling in the distance and a zillion stars overhead... somewhere on an isolated Northern Michigan string of lakes.
Similar idea, but a different take on it than my own entry, and a good one too, very nice! My only tiny little nit, and I know it would be very hard at the time and impossible now to correct, but if only his head was fully silhouetted against the colourful reflection and didn't merge into the black shoreline...
Thanks for the replies Dave and Pete. I realized the silhouette was a problem when I shot this but I ran out of smooth water and good light. If I had not been taking this photo from a kayak I would have just shot from a higher angle and that would have solved the missing head. Thanks again for the suggestion.
