My XF 200mm f2 continues to impress me with every use. Its perfect for capturing the local watermen at work.

An oyster shaft tonger packing it in for the day. They were in the lee of a small island. You can avoid the bulk of the fetch there but not the high winds. Honga River, Maryland. DSCF3442sm by Robert Bussell, on Flickr

A trot line crabber snaking his way up his line. I love the details from this lens. All the way down to the cigarette in his mouth. Fishing Bay, Maryland. DSCF3230sm by Robert Bussell, on Flickr

Looks like you got a meteorite also. Very cool!
That little light streak upper right? Maybe... I looked more closely in LR and it is hard to tell. Might be a satellite, high altitude plane...but I'm going with meteroite, more exotic. ;-)
Taken Mon, Oct 15, ~7:35pm. This time with a “Cheap Plastic XC-35” fitted to my X-30ii. Just wanted to see how the comet filled the frame. Cropped to 1:1, just looked right. And, oh, this is a SOOC jpeg with absolutely no edits other than size & ratio.
Fingers crossed for one more outing tonight, then the weather turns bad before the Comet is gone from view.

The Iowa wood barn is on its last legs. Nowadays, they are all steel-sided pole barns or fabric-covered hoop barns. X-T1 with kit lens.
Where in Iowa? (I lived in Cedar Rapids in the 80s, shot a few barns in the area)
UP 4014, “Big Boy”, 2024 swan song. Passing through the Nunn, CO area. In route from Denver, CO to Cheyenne, WY (home base) after a long 8 week tour of mid west states.
All with a “vintage” X-E2S and the XF 18-55mm “Kit” Lens. These pictures rekindled my affection for the older Fuji cameras. These images are mostly OOC with very little PP. The IQ and soft colors are pleasing to my eye. Simple controls, settings, pleasing images….tis a gift to be simple.
