I have my RX1 since 2013 and still love it. Never had to much complains about AF or handling. Of course I miss shots but in the end I got more keepers than with any camera before. It is still my best camera I ever had because it is always with me, it is descrete and silent. The IQ and creativ potential is amazing. I made an Album on flickr soley done with the RX1 and you will be surprised which situation can be handeled with some practise.
This camera I will never sell. It is my best friend and we spend so many good times together. But I also like the challenge to bring imperfectness to the best. Shame on Sony we never got a firmware update!

Spring break in the Canadian Rockies. Brought only one camera - my RX1R2. I thought of all of the gear permutations that I could bring, but decided that 35mm and some cropping was all that I needed - it was the right decision. I could do any activity and just tuck it into a small camera pouch without worrying. I was planning to sell it to pay for my 24GM, but now I don't think I can anymore.
Third shot is a stitch panorama in Lightroom - 42Mpx files sure take time to process, lol.

You know, every time I see images from this camera I kick myself for selling mine (RX1R II). I actually had it and a Leica Q at the same time and, while I have respect for people who love the Q, IMO there was no contest. The Sony images were just staggering by comparison. I then sold the Q and kept the Sony, at least for a while.
I'm toying with the idea of buying another RX1R II (maybe via Greentoe) before Sony stops selling them altogether, but I know I'll be laughed at. A lot.
