Just got back from a month long birding/golfing trip from Asia, These Eagle in Hokkaido of Japan is definitely the highlight of the trip.
Temperature there at the northern-most tip of Japan was around -7 to -10 degree C in the morning with wind speed at 20-30 mph on the top deck of a "Drift Ice Tour" boat is not for the faint of heart. But for us Canadians...it was just a breeze....

OMG! Those first 3 and the 5th eagle shot are remarkable. A bunch of wall hangers to be sure. Love the shots showing the boat/ice/seamen....easy to see that is isn't a pleasure cruise....hopefully, the golf courses were a wee bit more friendly.
