Just got back from 2 weeks in Bali and Lombok. What a beautiful country to visit with very kind people. Below are some images from the trip. The full gallery can be seen at Pbase at www.fotomark.org
We lived in central Sumatra from 89-93, and were fortunate enough to visit Bali 4 times. Many people go there for the beaches, but the real beauty is found among the friendly people and the interior of the island. Oh, and the food is terrific! The image (on Fotomark) of the lady with the greenery on her head is classic. Thanks for sharing.
An excellent set of documentary shots, including some fine portraits of the people.
I was lucky enough to go to Bali twice, but I was leading whirlwind tours and didn't have any time to poke around on my own. It WAS easy to tell, though, that the people were friendly.
I envy you the chance to have some direct contact with them.

Cock fights , they put a small blade on the rooster's feet so the fight between the two rooster will result in the death of the other, it's pretty bloody.

Beautiful ! Thanks for your shots, I was there a couple of weeks ago but only for 2.5 days.. I wish I had more time to take it all in, the people are great and you have captured them so well.

Love this type of photography and you have done a very good job with these.
The clarity, color and composition is very good. Like the way you capture the individuals emotions on many of these.

i have two that I like the most...lady with the hand fan and the next one (fisherman in green).
