I photographed these in february, but havent edited them before just now.
There are some branches in the way here and there. I could have edited them away if I had the skills and wanted to spend the time on it. I think they are a part of the scene and should therefore be in there, others might disagree. What do you say? and how do you find these?
Any C&C is always welcome
Awesome series! I have never seen one in the wild, let alone two, let alone two mating! The branches don't bother me in the least as the birds are the main and only thing I see...and to think I was excited about seeing two flickers mating

BRANCHES?? What branches? A great set Thomas, and the branches are not noticeable because the subjects are powerful enough to keep my eyes focused on them. Very well done ~ Ron
Very nice set Thomas. The light highlights the eagles well. The tree branches provide a good backdrop (better than a plain sky, imo). Well done!! Just noticed the voyeuristic magpie in the last couple shots! A neat addition to the images.
This is way beyond amazing. I like the way that you kept everything natural. I don't see any problem with branches.
This is my first time to see Golden Eagle mating
I am speechless. Thanks for sharing.
