Masterful Harsha!
The portraits are all quite special and because of the rarity I will choose the wild dog as my favorite although I keep going back to the big male lion. The leopard shot is top shelf as well with a fabulous background to go with a nice pose with that slightly bent left foreleg...

Great detail, colors, composition. The environment looks so...African! I can almost imagine being there. The male lion is my favorite; there's something about his expression that is almost wistful.
I saw your name and Bots and I knew I was in for a visual treat
These all are truly superb images, top notch work to say the least. I'm heading there myself later in the year and hope I come back with one image as good as these! One nit, there is are a couple of dust specs behind the Eli
Loved the links Harsha, your commentary is wonderful, I felt like I was there.

Big animals are something I never have photographed so it is a pleasure to see you do it in such a wonderful way
#1 nice relaxing light, would love to see you take the 'edge' off the BG and soften it a bit to separate the cats better
#2 This one just locks me on, wonderful!
#3 Animal scapes are one of your specialties, nice to take in as much environment as possible The BG is loaded with sensor spots on this one?
#4 The warmth against the greens is wonderful Harsha, pattern is eye catching I like this one a lot and it would IMO look sweet also in a tighter crop, very sweet buddy.
#5 These pups sure look like scrappers, certainly some markings on the nose to prove it too! Nice one
#6 Ohhhh my isn't this lovely, wow what a beauty my friend
#7 If wrinkles could talk there would be a lengthy listening to appreciate here! Nice portrayal of size and grace.
Harsha, these are a beautiful set of images because of the subject matter, compositions, and your very fine processing.
I kept going back to review and pick some favorites but I finally realized they're all equally good and I really enjoyed the whole gallery.
Excellent work Harsha.
They're all such great shots, but it's the one of the wild dog pup that keeps drawing me back. I love the first one as well...it looks almost too perfect to be shot in the wild.
Superb portraits all around, seems your lens decision was correct. Sometime too long and heavy can be more of a hindrance indeed and the 200-400 would be very versatile.
