I was inspired by an image one of my favorite photographers did of her son (Magdalena Berny) and decided to 'borrow' the pose for a portrait of my own 12 year old son. Just one image...natural light. Finally got a working copy of the 50L. NO extra sharpening was added in post to his eyes, they were THAT sharp sooc.
I like the light here Lisa and what it did for the image. Not only a nice stepped back blur but the light fade goes along with it.
Not only the sharpness is amazing but the quality of color is too and that is all good
For the life of me, I can never get this kind of tack sharp image. I have decent equipment (D600 Nikon 70-200 2.8 or Nikon 85 1.8) but I never every get this kind of sharp focus. Is there a trick that I am missing?
