Lovely shots. I like the waterhole shots very much. I am considering Namibia as my next african country to visit. Did you go on your own or with group?

I organized the trip on my own and rented a car over there. It is the best way as you can design your own program and stop whenever you want to take a photograph.
I booked all the lodges from home and it was fairly easy

The 200-400 was wonderful, although I sometimes found it a bit short on full-frame. I would have loved to also have a D7000 to get a bit more reach, especially in Etosha N.P. where you can't leave the roads.
A 500mm would have been nice too although you give up a bit of flexibility.
On distant subjects, the 200-400 wasn't very sharp unless you would unscrew the front element which I sometimes did.
These are just phenomenal.
Great range of images. All are processed beautifully and show excellent attention to opportunity, expression, motion and background.
