It's a great picture overall. One nit; I wish the foreground vegetation were in focus. I realize that would've required a fair amount of DoF blending (which is always pain in the neck), but otherwise, this is a great interpretation of an iconic location!

Thank you Arka for your suggestion and nice words. It is hard to get focus in a dark, but I will try next time when I shot night photography.
Again, big thanks to FM who voted this as Featured thread of the week.
Yan, I love your post, what a nice composition and combination shot. I like the mood of the shot and everything down to the waterfall seems so perfect. Can you tell me, was the lower part of the shot (rocks and water) illuminated by moonlight or just the milky way and ambient city lights? Please keep posting, brings a smile to my face

Beautiful picture, Yan! Amazing shot and jaw-dropping Flickr site! Hey, were we together in Big Sur Milky Way waterfalls in April a year ago? Not sure if it was you.
Thanks for sharing!

I think the foreground focus is acceptable. The main thing is to have the point of interest i.e. the waterfall and rocks around it (and stars) in focus, and they are.
