Captured this Burrowing Owl last weekend with my buddy Glen at my local spot.
This adult male was hunting insects and flying back and forth to the rock in the BG.
Always a challenge getting these guys in the exact focal plane as the auto focus is way too slow to keep up. Manual pre-focus is the only way I can get good sharp shots unless they take off exactly to the right or left. Needless to say, it takes a ton of shots and waiting, to get one or two quality ones. Hope you like it.
