p.1 #1 · More Grizzlies from Kananaskis - all with 200-400
Dan Heitman and I went to Kananaskis this morning looking for wildlife. At first we thought we were going to be skunked and all we found was a 4 moose, but Dan's eagle eyes came through and we found a mom and cub and then a junior grizzly.
It was a great way to spend fathers day morning doing what I wanted.

Harshaj1: Its all about the light. 1 was with the sun behind me and the bear in the shade. The other bears would not cooperate on posing in the right light. Glad you like 1,2. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

Very nice images. Even with that lens and cropping , you had to have been very close to these bears. Question?..how many yards away were you for the closest image?

sparkeee: All of these were about >300mm and most with 1.4x engaged. So I was far enough that I had a running chance to get to my car if I dropped my lens (ouch). 100'. Glad you like the images. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
G.E. Smith: Glad you like the Kananaskis bears. There are lots of them in this park. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

More great one's Scott, that first one is excellent, but the others aren't too far behind. I also particularly like that 4th one. Hope I can have somewhat the same type of experience later this year, but I doubt I'll get anything as good. Experience counts as well.
