This is a fabulous set and it was a delight sharing with you in person after so many years of electronic communications and near misses during our trips to each other’s coast. Your expression when you saw all the activity on the beach was priceless. You have many wonderful images in this set yet the one for me the special on is that super low angle of the black skimmer coming at you.
Color me jealous... looks like an awesome time on both coasts.
Fantastic captures of some very busy Eagle action, and the Nickerson Beach set is right up my alley.
Excellent work in the tough light, really enjoyed the whole set Conrad. Glad you had a great time.

Great set, Conrad. I especially like the oyster catcher shots, not only because of the beautiful ground level perspective, lighting, and perfect focus, but also because the photos are interesting: I've never seen these birds feeding on open sand beaches and eating mole crabs (sand crabs) before (seems to be unusual on the Pacific coast, where oyster catchers are more common on rocky shores). Thanks for sharing these!
Also, is that the heavy 600mm and 1dx combo that you are hand-holding?? Maybe your lens is lighter than my ancient one, but still an impressive feat.
Wow! You've packed many great images into one series. The Oystercatchers, the Piping Plover, the variety of actions shots of Bald Eagles, and your landscape panorama are stunning. Thank you for sharing one of your coast-to-coast adventures.
