Wow. This image works on a number of levels for me.
The foreground detail is excellent with leading sinuous lines to the impressive cumulous clouds, separated by the black pupil of distant mountains. I see a curve from the cloud ceiling completing and mirroring the arch of the sand horizon. Love the PP with bright highlights and saturated blacks.
