A bit? Now that's a sky. I'm probably overly observant of skies because I seem to struggle with them.

That's the goal, Ron. hehe I am going to play with the 2 road pictures and see if a prettier sky looks good or competes too much with the landscape after I get these crazy kids down for a nap. I agree though, blown skies are no fun. lol

Well, I tried some sky work on the road pics and ultimately ended up liking those images better without...I felt like a colorful sky competed with the girls and the landscape, so I left it be. I do, however, love the sky dropped in on #8...I'm totally keeping that one.

Outstanding work all around Lisa! Killer location selection and the blend of the colors selected by the young ladies with your direction and the location just works beautifully especially the blues. And as expected amazing processing.
Hope to someday take one of your classes!

Marko, I edit each image individually by hand...the steps I take really just depend on that particular photo. I use a lot of layers in my editing. One quick and easy way to bring out more color in your image is to create an adjustment layer (any kind...doesn't matter...I use curves) and change the blending mode to soft light. Drop the opacity to taste and mask it off of the skin. Selective color is fun to play around with too, as well as solid color fill layers. I'm also a HUGE fan of levels...very powerful little tool!

Really good processing and bringing out the warmth in the red rocks. I also like that you've included more landscape (small people) shots, than what seems to be your usual.
