He says he's using an EF to NEX adapter. I mean, I guess he could have an EF converted FD, but that's why I asked.
No it's the EF 85/1.2 mk II version. I just prefocussed and set aperture on a canon body then swapped. Of course you have to move a little
Does anyone know if the metabones III eos to nex adapter has mechanical vignetting with the 85/1.2? I just can't find any samples with it at all. Very frustrating.

Nice 3rd Michiel, that is Art. Would you mind take that collapsible Summitar 50 for a stroll too as I need some more lenses to spend money on
So much to test and explore! The days are too short. Grey days are coming again but I see what I can do, it is in the upper region of my list.
BTW I have seen some passing by @ the bay. They don't break the bank.

Thanks. Right, I've seen some too. Even tried one locally but got cold feet as there was a tiny bubble (or two) in the lens. Now I believe I understand that it's pretty normal for those lenses with that age, and for the later the funk'o'magic is gone :-)

Yes that is true! I was told by a Leica expert/reparer. Most old Leica lenses have air bubbles in the glass and it does not matter. Makes it even funkyer
Boke shot. FE35 wide open, A7. This was taken just after I picked up the charger/extra battery which I had forgotten in the store the day before. Sony Center Berlin.
Outstanding photos. Certainly allays my fears about the suitability of the a7r for kids shots of this style.

Quick snaps with the A7R + ZM 85 f2 whilst walking the kids and dog this arvo. Interestingly it appears as though the lens vignettes. I can't remember what aperture I shot at, but the dark corners appear in a number of shots I took.
