North Window Arch in Arches National Park last week with other night photographers and their glowing red headlamps that helped light paint the arch while I captured it from a distance.
Back to the old fisherman on the Li River, near Guilin - cormorant fishing here is an ancient, traditional practice dating back to approximately 1,300 to 1,500 years. Historically used for subsistence, this method involves training cormorants to catch fish, with a snare around their necks to prevent them from swallowing large catches, which are then retrieved by the fisherman.

Loving your China series Joshua, every photo you've posted is really nice!
Another one from my recent trip to Moab, UT. The La Sal Mountains at dawn captured while hiking around in the Sand Flats area.

Piotr, these are so fun! And almost painterly. I see a few that I think would make lovely prints.
Thank you Ross.Your opinion is very much appreciated. And yes,I like that Trioplan FE 100/2.8 just for it's (often) painterly look, though use it a few times a year at most.
Looking at the Himalayas from Tibet, around 5100m. Scene contrast levels were otherworldly high, lucky I had the a7r. (Contax Zeiss 100/3.5, which I guess we can now call a 'vintage lens').
lonely township atop the huge drop-off, plunging ~4000m in 50kms or so.
wasteland so high 8000m mountains look like rather lower elevation peaks.
