My Viltrox 35/1.8 EVO arrived today. Not much for me to photograph right now, but I did get some shots of my wife's garden that has been neglected for some time. I can confirm that the lens is very sharp wide open and so far I can't see any color fringing. Sharpness improves at f2 and then more at f2.8. Not my cup of tuna. But if you like this, you could play around with the old trick of cutting shapes from paper and then taping that to the front of your lens.
I love camera photography of my family. It makes casual moments feel bigger than life, esp when everyone shares bad cell phone photos through IG all the time.
