It's hard to believe that another year has gone by! My biggest highlight this year was without a doubt the birth of our 10th little one, Gabriel Lucas this past June. I've made many wonderful new connections with people, and had an amazing year both personally and professionally. I always have so much fun putting these together, and hope that I've shown growth from last year's review. I'm going into 2014 making some big changes as my family/business balance has been off kilter lately and I need to get things working right again for me and my family. My pricing has increased pretty drastically to hopefully bring in a different type of client, and afford me more time to do things on the home front. I feel like I've really refined my style this year, and want to push my creativity to new levels in the year to come. I'm greatly looking forward to it, and already have so many exciting sessions and opportunities on the calendar for the New Year. I've entered 3 prints in WPPI's 16x20 print comp this year and cannot wait to see how those do - hopefully it'll be a great way to kick off the New Year.
I'm warning you now, there are a LOT of pictures here. I just went through my year's worth of work, grabbed favorites, and threw them into these collages. This is a mix of personal and client work, and is in no particular order at all. My baby is in here a lot, as he was a big highlight of our 2013 year. I look forward to seeing everyone else's year in reviews also! Merry Christmas everyone!
Hi Lisa, my college lecturer always told me "Lighting, Subject, Composition make a photograph" and every one of these images proves that beautifully, always a pleasure viewing your work, Merry Christmas, Bill.
What a lovely year for you. Nothing but happy clients I'm sure. My favorites are the newborn and your maternity pictures. Boy I wish I had some maternity images of my wife like the ones you have taken. All your work is stunning and you should be very proud of what you are able to create for people. WOW! Though I've seen some of these before, It's nice to see the group -- and the wide variety of types of images and backgrounds. A desert just with rocks is boring, right? No - not with the ways you have used the backgrounds to highlight people in many ways!
Your work is AMAZING. {LONG} is a relative word. When I got to the bottom of your pictures I thought,, ,hmmm,,, that's all? Have a Merry Christmas and keep the balance through the New Year.
All of the work I have seen from you has been absolutely amazing. I've been meaning to take a look at your website, but this really gives me a taste for the style you have made your own. I'm really impressed with your branding, processing, and emotion you get out of all your clients. You should be very proud of that too. It inspires me to continue doing what I do. Keep up the great work, and I expect to see more amazing portraiture in 2014!
