I do agree this is well done, and you certainly crafted a nice image. His head is a bit big/out of proportion, and I'll go against the grain here a bit and say, as good as it looks, it probably would look even better @ 50mm (though you'd probably need something taller than a box to get his entire wingspan in the frame.) But I do like this image.
