Terrific shot. I like both. I have a question or perhaps a suggestion - what do you think about adding more blue and some saturation to the photo to give the ice a little more pop?

Thank you. Believe it or not this image has already been pushed when it comes to saturation. I think this really represents how my mind's eye saw this scene through the view finder. Regardless of how I expose the image and process it, it's what I see through the view finder is that I try to portray in my images for the most part.
I love the color version, Scott. The color of the reflections make the main icicles really stand out, and rightly so. I think that's a little lost in the B&W version. Plus the blue is really cool (literally and figuratively).

VERY awesome photograph! I prefer the color one. I couldnt tell what this was from the thumbnail... I thought it was another abstract take on aspen trees or something, but I couldnt figure out what the top would be. Very nice!!
