I enjoyed Charlie's images over the years. He saw and shared a lot during his time and will be missed. Here are some scanned slides from Nepal. Taken in the late 70s and early 80s.
Thanks for this thread. I had no idea about Charlie. He was a good egg, and we had several PMs on this forum - mostly about photo philosophy... I will miss his posts here. Yes, he was an interesting, well-traveled man. RIP Charlie!

Never met the man but he always reminded me of the grandfather with a billion awesome stories. Never saw an image he took that I didn't like. Always enjoyed his sense of humor. I miss him already funny how people you never met can have such a profound effect on you. Really bummed to hear about his passing but his images live on. Hope you are in the land of the eternal golden hour good sir. It's the best I can wish for you. Cheers Charlie.
