These Golden-crowned Kinglets migrated through a few weeks ago and gave me a chance to try out quick focusing with the Canon 7D Mark II and the 500mm F4 IS II with the 1.4x III. The camera did a great job and I got a lot of keepers. These birds do not sit still for long, only pausing momentarily as they look for bugs

Andy those shots look great! Nice pop and contrast in the colors, good detail throughout. Glad to see more MA shooters representing ;-)

Hi Andy...

I'll have to agree with the other posters and say you've got some stunners here...especially at ISO 800 and 1600.

It shows off the quality of the 7D Mark II, and more importantly, the skill and quality of the photographer's talent.
