Thanks for the kind words! It's a great little lens I think.
Bit the bullet and got a copy of the Loxia 85 since they're now discontinued and tested it today. Even though it's fairly slow and not a bokeh monster by any means it has the same beautiful rendering as the other Loxia lenses, it's like a baby Otus/Milvus. And touch wood, but it doesn't have the magnification errors as my Loxia 35 on my A1.

Congratulations with your Loxia 85. I too love mine, I should use it more.
I have 4 Loxia's, the 25, 35, 50 and 85. Only my Loxia 35 which I bought used has the magnification error on my A7RIII. I wish it didn't, but I learned to live with it.
Maybe someday I will buy the Loxia 21 just to get my set complete.. who knows.
Lovely images! Please keep the Loxia 85 pictures coming, we enjoy seeing them.
Loxias capturing some interesting geology in the desert near Moab a few days ago, love these lenses for the crisp contrast and vivid colors they capture, not to mention how small and fun they are to hike and shoot with!
How to become a reluctant lens collector.
I bought my 25mm two years ago for $700. It was used, but in like-new condition, complete with box. It was the best option at the time. After buying the Nokton 21/1.4, I no longer used it. I decided to sell it. The current asking price for it is $500. And the dollar exchange rate has changed, reducing demand for 25mm lenses... So I'll keep it and use it occasionally.
All photos were taken with the aperture fully open.
