these aren't worthy either but i was able to quickly locate them. Both taken wide open using a D3....the 1st shot was in a very dimly lit area of my apartment though you cannot tell by the pic
Here's a pic I took last month during a huge demonstration here in Jakarta. That guy is civil service police, he's distributing bottled water for the participants of the demonstration. This was taken at f/3.5, 1/250.
This is a video of weekly photos that I took of my daughter between her 2nd and 3rd birthday. Photos taken on either D600 or D800, all at f/2 with shutter generally between 1/160 and 1/320 and ISO to suit exposure.
I'm not sure that Nikon has ever made a more distinctive lens. Yeah, people have their preferences, but for sharpness with subject separation, very few lenses come close.
