I have never seen the black bands on the beak. Is that something special?

Thanks Scott. While my time is limited with the ibis, I believe the banding on the beak is a maturation thing.

Nice series with the chick Ted. #5 is the standout for me for the sharpness, head angle and cleaner BGD.

Oh boy, those really are faces only a mother could love . Nicely done working with the light to really bring out their iridescence. These are a treat to view!
