Each passing rain storm that hits the Bay Area the hills are coming alive. Still not prime conditions as I'm waiting for the spring flowers and green grass harmony. I've been moving away from the coast and hitting the local hills. I also wanted to get the oak trees before they sprout leaves as I think the way the branches grow is really interesting to me. Once the leaves sprout then the scene changes to a different flavor.
I like both of these and admire the photo subject. On the way from Fresno to Yosemite a bit over a week ago, I wish I had stopped as there were similar trees and some really nice light but I was in too much of a hurry to get to the valley and missed out on the opportunity. Trees for me are wonderful photo subjects but challenging to frame. You did well here. Thx for sharing.
