both are wonderful. i really like the positioning of the rock in the bottom of the first one and the flow of the water. i think the vertical orientation works very well in both.
Thanks everyone! I'm a little partial to #2 myself. I went to Pfeiffer to catch the sun rays through the arch, but with so many people there I was just put off. I scouted different area of the beach and found some nice comps.

Just F22 when the sun hits a hard edge like a rock in #2. I also clean them up abit in PS but in terms of capturing, nothing special. I do blend multiple exposure to avoid flare and better DR. That usually gives a cleaner look.
