Very nice, unique images. The owls seem completely unperturbed by your presence. Great job. Since burrowing owls spend much of their time just standing still, I imagine you were very patient, or very lucky, to get such a variety of interesting action.
Thank you everyone for stopping buy and for your kind words! The owls used the low branch as a lookout for flying beetles and other bugs that they feed on. It's real fun to watch them plug these insects in mid air ... and missing their target half the time, so they would fly back to their perch. This went on for several hours in morning. There were about 6 or 7 photographers there.
