I know I can do some quick Googling, but how do folks compare this to the M-Rokkor or Summicron? Can you point me to some posts in this thread, if possible?

I have the 40/2 Summicron-c, what do you want to know? The Leica lens is tiny, but bokeh is quite busy (soap bubbles). It’s decently sharp, though I think the CV is better.
Just realized I hadn't posted in couple years in this thread. This 40mm Nokton is still my favourite lens of all time - and it's still very often on my camera. Last autumn I even shot a friend's wedding as a comission, using my 40mm Nokton and 85mm Sigma Art as my main lenses.
But here's a few pics from our sailing trip in 2021. Still have lot's of catching up to do in my editing...
