Thanks Ayas, no camo I think that they were just very young and naive. I heard them coming and used a tree to hide myself as they approached. Later that same day, I had another really young one approach me. When he finally noticed me, he tried to hide behind a really small tree thinking that I couldn't see him.... it was really cute.
Oh my... that is really cute! I guess they also need to develop object permanence like we do. It occurred to me their friendliness may have been due to a lack of human interaction.
