I like 2 and 8.

They all look good to me from a flash fill perspective.

The other comment is that the contrast looks a bit high on my screen. I'd want a lot more softness for a female subject. But, I guess strong shadows are inevitable with a single flash.

a comment to a comment. a reflector 45� - 60� off-center 6 - 8 stops down bounced into the shadows would soften them.

with that said, to the OP, job well done. i like the simplicity 'classic look' of your shoot and the very appealing girl next door look of your model.

oh, and the choice of her outfit. it contrast her skin exquisitely.

I like everything. The lighting, the processing, DOF, etc.

Personally I think the close crops are the best. The amber colors of the bokeh in the background of the second to last ones are visually interesting on a second look.
