Cropped from the left and the right; tripod mounted 100-400mm GM lens set to 352mm and A7rIII; silent shutter.
ISO 100, f5.6, 1/200 second.
Exposure corrected +1.47 Stops.

The 100-400mm is going to be an even more versatile lens on the A1 - 100mm - 600mm, equivalent the 600mm in crop mode yielding about 21megapixels. Wow! . . . I haven't read the whole thread. Someone may have already pointed this out (it just struck me); apologies in advance.

26mp on the A7Riv 😃 Add the 1.4TC and it becomes even longer. The 1.4 stays on mine most of the time.

I'm not much of a bird photographer, but opportunistically shoot a few that show up in my back yard. This one was fairly late in the day, hence the high ISO.

I'm not used to working at such high ISOs and shutter speeds, largely being a wide-normal angle landscape photographer, but I am enjoying the lens quite a bit working through its difference in handling and shooting.
