I use to own the 100-400mm GM and loved it. However sold it to buy the 200-600mm which I really like. However after seeing this thread pop up yesterday and seeing the images it reminded me of how much I liked the 100-400 GM, it's MFD, size and weight. Even most the time with the 200-600mm I take a lot of images in the 300-500mm range. Well now that I can afford to own both I just ordered another 100-400mm GM. I think having both will be great.

Love both of the lenses .. för close up the 100-400 is great
