I posted the 35 images on the 5 lens Big Bronco test
Yes you did. But very few 35/1.7 samples of the pictures taken at closer distances with the 50/1.2 (such as the interiors) which you've just posted in this thread were shown in the Big Bronco test and it's those that I found most impressive. Longer distance and infinity shots aren't of much interest to me.
I've seen some great shots with this lens on the Fujifilm GFX cameras... amazing that something so small and fast covers 44x33mm sensors. It gets a little crazy in the corners wide open but you can also set that camera to 'FF Mode' and get a 30MP image without crazy corners.

Yea I did not shoot with the 35 doing those interiors I had the 50 on the camera

No matter. I prefer 50mm to 35mm and the pictures you've shown in this thread with the 50/1.2 are extremely helpful to me. Thanks for posting them. I haven't been tempted by any of the recent CV lenses (40/1.2 VM or VE, 65/2) excellent as they are, but the 50/1.2 looks as though it's perfect for my needs. I'll wait to see how the VE version performs before deciding whether to get it or the VM (which I could use with the TAP). A smallish, native, MF E-mount 50 is very appealing though.
Finally got mine yesterday afternoon. Got out this morning and took a couple images. So far it looks sharper wide open to me than the 40mm. It's so small as well. Really a beautiful lens Can't wait to test it out some more.

I saw this video about using the Nokton 50/1.2 on the GFX, but didn't see any sample images. Do you know where I can find some images?

CV50/1.2 shot on a GFX50s @ f/1.2 (I know this is a Sony forum, just thought seeing some images of what this lens can do would be helpful). It's the most enjoyable 50mm lens I've ever encountered. I shoot a lot of adapted 50's on my GFX, and the CV is just plain awesome.

Not heard any Emount release date yet. Maybe some of our colleagues in Japan have some additional info ?
Cosina hasn't made any announcement on their website about the 50/1.2 E-mount version's release yet. Usually they announce new lenses at least 2-3 weeks prior to release date, sometimes 1-2 months in advance. Since they have announced the other 2 new lenses in M mount (35/2 and 21/3.5) for release on 25th of January (announcement made back in December), I don't think they will also squeeze in 50/1.2 e-mount for January release. They don't usually release so many lenses all at once.
My personal quess is that the 50/1.2 e-mount might get announced sometime in January for a February release at the earliest.

This is great! Have you shot the cv 40 1.2 on the gfx?

Yes, it performs very well, but with slightly more distortion and vignette at the corners compared to the 50mm. The 10 blades on the 40 though, make for killer stars that few lenses can produce.

yesssss! I am extremely interested in this. Do the corners sharpen up pretty well once stopped down?

The images below are full sensor GFX and the CV40/1.2 corners do not become 100% great, and there's still distortion that is very difficult to completely eliminate. The CV50, behaves much better and is nearly 100% correctable.
