Mine usually does but this time they told me Sony sent out an email to the dealers to not release them early 🤷🏻♂️ My lens is in already but I can't even see it 😂😂😂
I’m not sure there will be a lot of testing myself. Fred really did a great job on his review of it. Sure I’ll do BB but just looking at these images is great for me to see.

Here’s the problem for the dealers . Sony, canon, Nikon can actually punish dealers releasing early. Why some won’t do it. Don’t view this as good , bad or indifferent. It’s a business and it’s money. Sure nice to get it early no question but we don’t want dealers getting in trouble either

I definitely understand that and do not have an issue with it but I guess some dealers don't care lol

Ordered mine on 28-Feb which was the first day I believe if my memory is correct but not until later in the day so I hope the gets me in the first batch. Waiting patiently (what choice to I have). Just checked. Still on back order.
At least I only live one shipping day away. Maybe by next Tuesday if I am lucky.

Just gonna test for decentering and is it as sharp as it should be. Just want to get a decent copy.
Need to be ready for grand kids in 10-15 years from no - should be competent with this lens and the Sony A7RX by then
My dealer says they can't release them yet as per Sony
