Took a look out my livingroom window this morning to see Toronto getting a solid dose of nice fluffy Canada for a change. Turning a boring view into something at least mildly interesting. Note the Toronto signature of an improperly cleared Prius driving around with several inches of snow on the roof.

Mardi Gras weekend. Riding with a client on a float on Sunday morning (Hail Oceans!) so brought the family for the weekend. Some from last night Babylon parade, and views from around the hotel.
All with Zf and 26 2.8.
HDR so curious if they show up looking like piss for some?
This is a favourite bokeh test of mine. Growing to like this fun but flawed lens, it's exactly what a modern character lens should be, very predictable flaws which never surprise, but often support the image.

I'm only commenting because this is obviously a test shot so it's in no way a reflection on you or your talents. But IMHO, that's just horrible. It looks like someone bumped into you while you were taking the photo. I'm not sure how you could overcome that smearing in actual photo applications. But maybe that's the challenge ?

I probably should note that's ISO 25600 with NR. The interactions between the NR and the spherical abberation are a bit weird and I need to play with them more to figure out how to get the NR to not kill the texture.
The logo on the canoe is actually reasonably sharp at 100% on the edges. That was the focus point, all the branches are actually behind the zone of focus. This is a definite torture test for Bokeh if you can get the zone of focus shallow enough to only be the bow.
