Hi, Charles, Thank you very much. I have enjoyed your family images a lot. You can make any camera shine. I just love those skin tone and contrast.
Sorry I didn't comment all those beautiful images posted in this thread. The thread is going fast now with high quality images keep feeding. Nikon Z system deserve a great thread IMO. The system just works with wonderful ergo and high quality glass.

Thank you Another great shot Michael and I love the 90 Cron. My camera/lens purchases are on hold for now until we arrive in Spain.
The Z6 is superb. The menu system is so easy and intuitive and real pleasure to use. The amount of thought that has gone into it becomes more revealing the more you use it. The AF speed and acquisition has not entered into my thinking that it is slower than my D850. It is different but in some instances it is faster. My son Daniel still has his A7r and absolutely loves the Z6 so much that he is looking to buy one for his family shots.
The other aspect not talked often is the quality of the Jpegs are superb. Using SnapBridge the ability to share family photos immediately on social media is great. The quality of image shared onto FB still maintains 2048px so the presentation is excellent. Daniel was using my Z6 and then sharing the images with their friends without having to mess with LR.

Yup. I haven't bothered shooting raw on the Z7 yet... No need to. It's like using an E-1. ; - )
Sure I keep all my raw's alongside the Jpegs, but it is hard to improve on. Just need to get the composition 100% so no post is needed Seriously with all the discussion of small and pocketable cameras the Jpegs have to be right in 2019/2020 so the work load in getting images is just there for the most part particularly with social media. I must admit for the last few years I did not treat Jpegs as serious images, even with Fuji XT2 as often the WB was not right.
The E1 was a special camera—I exclusively shot in jpeg mode. mapgraphs wrote:

It's been a busy couple of days for me doing photography between my day job. I had the absolute displeasure of trying to learn how to do fashion photography for the first time ever to help out a friend who is starting a tshirt company. I'm not sure i'll have helped him at all hahah. I tip my hat to those who do fashion photography, I didn't find it easy. I got out to the coast for a sunset yesterday which is far more my style!
