The Viltrox 28/4.5 pancake is an interesting little lens. I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around a fixed aperture and one less thing to think about while shooting...in that way, it's fun for street...just compose and shoot away in Av mode! The IQ isn't there at 100%, but looks good enough for a hundred dollar lens.
Walked around with the Z8 and Zeiss Sony 35/2.8 last night at Disney Springs. Had my first IPA in 5 months and it was glorious! Crooked Can High Stepper, so yummy 😍🍻
This is 3D pop, definitely.
Good sharpness in the plane of focus and smooth, gradual transitions to the oof planes.
I have to study more the qualities of the AF-S 24/1.4G.

Thank you very much!
In my opinion, the 24/1.4G is an underrated lens (as is the 35/1.4G). I very much enjoy them on my Zf.
The Zilver ZF arrived today with the 40mm, but was wanting to test it out with the megadap and 24 and the 65 f2. Both work great with tracking and eye. Here are a few new camera day snaps from around the house. All with Sony 24 1.4.
Camera is bigger than I remembered but that's probably because I was last shooting an OM1.2 and A7Cr. I love the small rig leather case with that thumb support in the back. Small rig grip always makes my fingers feel too tight. Probably should shoot the z5ii but my vanity won't let me.
