I was at my sons recent Triathlon event in Atlantic City taking photos near the finish line. I had our Golden Retriever, Rocky on a short leash next to me. I happened to look down and this little boy, who I had no idea who he was, was loving on Rocky and Rocky on him. I just couldn’t take enough photos.
Herb, such a tender wonderful moment. One of my last "children" was named Rocky because he had all the coloring of "rocky road ice cream". He was a precious friend/son and part of my soul. When he and his 2 sisters left this world, part of my soul left with them. And I thought the losses in war/combat was hard.....
