A HUGE gracious thank you, everyone! I have been so busy lately I have not been able to drop by here a lot except to lurk at people's amazing photos for inspiration. I'll do better! I'm very grateful to everyone for your comments and votes!
Crazy but my The Ultimate Cypress Dreams and Waterways of the South Workshop booked up in less than 6 hours! We are considering a second one next year with different dates.
All the best to everyone and your families this New Year!

Beautiful.
How did you get to f64?

I was wondering the same.
Oops. I am sorry. I may have read the metadata wrong. That must have been with the 2X converter on the lens. Then 200mm...
Thank you very much, everyone! I really appreciate the feedback and valued encouragement. We did not even officially announce this workshop and it filled up in less than 6 hours!
We are adding another (no official announcement yet) and it has only 3 more openings... Contact me if you are interested...

Really nice comp and colors. Only thing, I would level that waterline. Its going uphill. IMO
Thank you very much for the compliment and suggestion. As the attached (below) photo shows the image is straight. One huge problem with the idea of unnaturally forcing the waterline to look level here is that the image would suffer terrible inconsistency in quality detail and sharpness due to all the interpolation/softening the stretching that it would cause. I could get away with it for web viewing (where we can nearly get away with murdering our images) BUT the 60" x 90" INCH LUMACHROME HD Print would suffer terribly! In fact, it would limit the potential of the gallery enlargement to a medium or small size. I just cannot make that sacrifice!

This is stunning! I had no idea the colors on those cypress turn that red. Love the water (longer shutter speed) and the reflections. Well done!
Yeah, I came here and it was a red frenzy! Thank you!

We don't see many of those Bayou images here!
I find myself looking through the water and detail for some kind of living creature.
Thank you! They be there! Have to be careful around these parts!!!

This is a superb image with mood.
Still got my Canon 70-200 too for my A7r3
F32 looks to be the smallest aperture for my f4 IS EF.
Huge thank you. 2X converter... Even the specks on my sensor were in focus!!!

Beautiful dreamy image. Your experiments worked out well. I have the same question as others, how did you get f/64?
