I agree with the other post that color isn’t required. The first photo is great the way the stream starts you off and then leads you to the mountains. It’s a wall hanger!!

The point is that I would like to compare a color version to the posted one. Not too hard to understand. And as the OP noted, he plans to post the color version, but hasn't gotten around to it. It IS his prerogative to not post a color version. I sure hope he does because I think they would probably be more appealing.

It just gets really tiresome that you say "where is the color" whenever a B&W landscape is posted.
It might be more appealing to you perhaps, but not to others.

1. It is even more tiresome when you question why I want to compare B&W vs color versions of an image.
2. IMO, most landscape images are drab and boring. For some, I guess they think it is "artsy' and that is fine. I just want to see the FULL potential of the image by seeing all of the information captured by the camera sensor.
3. I will always want to see a color version to compare. Most people do post a color version and more often than not, the response from others is that the color version is better. I do remember one landscape that the B&W version was better than the color.
4. There will always be a small group that hangs on to the B&W club and that is fine. That is why there is a B&W forum.
5. I am looking forward to viewing these images in color.
Great images which I think will be good any way you go with them. Is it possible that in the second the horizon is a little off. I'm looking at the end of the lake.
