Beautiful images! The compositions and the colors are sublime. Both the hummers and the flowers are beautiful.
I'm amazed you managed to get the hummer standing on the stem of the flower in the third one.
Gorgeous captures as always Roberta. The shadows of the third could be a bit brighter. I love the way it's perched in that image. The first is my favorite.
How do you do it ?? That 3rd shot is just stunning. The body language of the bird, that background, the shape of the stem, and the colors. Just amazing .

Great set here Roberta. The larger flowers in frame are a nice change of pace from Hummer shots with smaller blooms traditionally seen. Detail is solid throughout.

#4 for cute factor. I remember watching young Rufous trying to figure out how to get pollen from foxgloves without having to get their heads inside the blossoms.

Thanks so much Dave. It was quiet a surprise and pleasure to see her land on the stem . I got a few shots before she started to feed on the flower.
