I love 35mm, and and 40mm feels very similar, but isolating subjects cleanly like you’ve done isn’t always easy at this focal length.

These are all excellent, but that first lantern image is perfection.

A quick walk this evening with my daughter and the Zf with the 40mm f2 SE. This is a fun little street lens and I'm surprised by the colour I was able to pull from it this evening. The bokeh isn't fantastic and the vignetting is significant, but it's pretty dang good for the price point (I picked it up for $300 CAD new which feels like $50 US haha).

I have a Zf and 40mm f2 currently waiting for me at my folks' in Santa Barbara. This definitely inspired me to take it out to the wharf.
