Sorry you have not received any experienced photographers comments.
This type of photography is my faux pas! So I will comment as a viewer.
1) The young girl is oof@soft. Her back hair is sharp and the left of her blouse also.
2) Light in eye
3) Beautiful rosy cheeks!
4)Also very soft.
5)Tones are not adding separation to the skin and hair.
Just my $.02 from a viewer.
Good luck. Hopefully some of our great experienced portrait members will chime in!
Dan
Danpbphoto, thank you for the insights, I definitely need to start experimenting with different apertures in conjunction with the strobes. This is such a great community.

These do have a certain nice, warm, interesting quality! What jumped out to me - everything is outside the focal range with the exception of the back of her hair and part of her top...maybe eyes sort of.
There's noticeable noise which makes it more difficult to tell. There are visible digital artifacts breaking up - could be added by PP, JPG or other places. I see you've used Luminar on them so maybe that's part of the answer.
It could be entirely your intention to have them be soft as part of the style so all my comments are out the window if that was your artistic approach! :-)
A few simple suggestions:
1. Composition is nice but I would give more space (back away) so the head doesn’t fill the picture as much.
2. The mood is interesting with the back lighting but the portrait is all about the face and eyes. I would add a key light to illuminate the front and side of the face more than it is now. You will need to experiment with levels to get the mood you want.
Every photographer has their own idea of how a photo should look. With that in mind, here's what I would have done differently in the two photos -
In the first photo, the soft light on her face is really nice and soft. I would try to match that mood by reducing the hair light to just a hint of light. That would also make her face the brightest part of the image. In the current image, the viewer's eyes go back and forth between the bright hair and her face.
Same with the second image although it's a bit better. Again, the hair light seems to compete for the viewer's attention. The second image isn't a full profile, but more like a short, short light. The nose extend past the far cheek, which you typically try to avoid since it can bring unwanted attention to the nose in some portraits. Usually you would either turn the face for a full profile or turn the head more to the camera to make sure the nose doesn't extend past the left cheek.
In the second image there is also a white dot on the collar you might want to clone out. Those are just general comments and tips. Hope they make sense.
