A sunny Sunday afternoon in downtown Fort Collins. Let's have a look around.
Some opt for shade, others play in the water :-)
Oh look a street bard offering poems...
Give her a topic, and she'll type it up right there while you wait.
And when it's done she'll send you off with a freindly smile.
Down aways is a wonderful bookstore, always a colorful/thoughtfull outdoor/sidewalk display.
And the real treasure (for me at least) are the pups you meet along the way...
This pup here is a lesson in resilience for us all. No matter what misfortune may strike--NEVER GIVE UP NEVER SURRENDER. Do the best you can with what you've got and and enjoy life.

It definitely maxes out all that I don't like about using 'dumb' adapted lenses. But, it is awkward and cumbersome, in a focal length that I'm not practiced in 'seeing' right now, though it does have very narrow working constraints to get it to perform. It may even be faster in use than a 4x5 studio camera.
I'm kinda loving it.
Now your tempting me, I always wanted one of the original Zeiss, but a more modern take would be better...
Ha! Growing up, my best friend had one of the Firebird OHC 6 "Sprint" (on Leno), which was lighter, slower and still handled like a shopping cart. It scared us in the curves so many times that my memories of it aren't all that dreamy. (Leno has it right there.)

Thanks brother! The town has some nice murals! #2 is especially nice because when looking at it, the painter appears to be a live person.
