p.1 #1 · Clouds lit from below - morning and evening
Taken on the same day end of last November, but in different prefectures north of Tokyo. The morning shot was just a moment before sunrise. The evening sun I first feared would be totally hidden by the clouds, but that tiny gap made for some nice sun rays. https://i.imgur.com/MT8Yf6B.jpg https://i.imgur.com/p6RH0h4.jpg

Wow what an incredible display of light and colour. No1 is spectacular for me, with the fall colour and the light. #2 has incredible light. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks to sharing the beautiful Tokyo suburban area
Thanks! It is actually already way beyond the suburban belt but still one of the closest national parks to an otherwise densely populated region.

Both shots are beautiful! I really like the first one with the fall foliage complementing the light. The second one is lovely too.
Thanks! Agree, the fall foliage helped a lot, otherwise it would have been a bit dull.

What a unique set of sun beams here. Seen a lot in my day but not with the clouds positioned in this fashion. Kudos to the foreground usage as well.
Thanks! The 2nd had very limited options for foreground composition so I'm glad it turned out usable regardless.
