These can be masters of camouflage (see my #997 WA, Hidden, entry) buy not so much if they open up. Against some reddish clay to some degree.

Butterflies are one of my most favorite subjects to photograph!

If you get to NYC, they have a wonderful exhibit going on now!

Thanks Dan!! Really happy to get this one against a bg having a lot of red clay. Been photographing them a lot too. Monarchs moving through lately
