I was disappointed when I saw this weeks subject as I am uninspired to shoot a respectable sock themed image. YOU, however found some inspiration. Fun shot. Do I see a glove sporting a peace sign? Nice touch.

Tom, this WA had me a bit miffed in that what could I composed that would be unique, creative and fill the theme? An animal with "white socks"? Socks?..
I agree with Paul and Dan. It has been a while since I've had time to do an entry, and I actually had some time this weekend. I was somewhat disappointed to see the theme, since I was struggling with a good idea. What great creative thinking and the execution is spot on! Good luck this week.
For people looking for something to shoot, the assignments are great. I learned a lot from the assignments I have participated in. Having recently decided to return to the hobby, I was excited to see the assignment and dashed when it turns out to be socks. Had no idea of what to shoot then suddenly the only idea I have involves a clothes line and after seeing it... A glove... Wonder where I got that notion... Tom, you nailed it. Even if there are dozens of entries, I cannot imagine one with a better concept. Creative.

I live in the Country also Tom.
But it is only the human relics that remain here that make it special. The flight from the "Swamp area" has ruined what is left here.
I can remember the smell of fresh laundry in the air growing up. We made a toy of some kind with the clothes pins(snap type) and for the life of me can't remember what it was!
I will certainly give you a heads up!
