Congratulations to Mr.Gale for winning Feature Thread of the Week with 4 votes - View Previous Winners
This week I've been trying to get ready for an art show that's happening a week from Saturday so I've been going through a lot of images looking for new ones to print. During this process I came across this image that I took a few years ago. I haven't decided if I'm going to print it or not but I thought I'd post it while I'm deciding. :-)

That's great Gale. I've flown sunrise there and it was very exciting. It's tough handling the high DR of a scene like this.
Thanks, Jeffrey. I was lucky and got a good sunset and sunrise.

I really like the diagonal line leading the viewer into the subject. Well composed scene.

I'd say print it!
I probably will. It will make a good mate to my sunset image of Shiprock.

Amazing... and thank you for not blasting the WB to make a fake orange sunset! Some incredible light and clouds you captured.
I try to be careful, do sometimes I fail. :-)

Not sure what competition it's facing from within the rest of your portfolio, but it's an awesome image that on its own merits deserves to be shown.
Thanks! I decided to print it.

I'd love to see it in black and white as well!
If I know how to make a decent B&W conversion, I'd try it.

That would make an awesome print as it's an awesome image.

David
Thanks guys!
David, after doing art shows for 37 years, getting ready for them has become a struggle. But, I've cut way back and only do a few show (3 this year), it keeps me out of trouble and I make a few bucks. :-)
